1. BEFORE LEAVING

★★★ Dimanche 28 avril 2013. ♥ London, baby.

       Telle une aventurière sans crainte, ni peur, je me jette à corps perdu (hé bien oui, à corps perdu) dans une nouvelle expérience à part entière... BEING AN AU PAIR, BABY! Ça veut dire UNE ANNÉE À LONDRES, à flâner de lignes de métro en correspondances par train, pour sillonner le London qu'on aime tous (oui: toi, ton facteur, et ta banquière ((Hello Mrs Noterman!)). Trainer dans tous les quartiers, et au delà, m'éterniser dans les musées, tester les pubs, restaurant et coffee-shop, découvrir les parcs et les symbols architecturaux anglais encore une fois. N'oublions pas le shopping et les les choses kitsch et vintage si connu à Londres (article à venir). Je me vois déjà dépenser la moitié de ma paie à Primark et au Starbuck du coin... c'est comme si j'étais à découvert avec un an d'avance... Oh dear. Ce blog a été créé pour être un support virtuel de mon quotidien (une fois là bas), garder une trace de tout cela, pour moi, mais aussi pour d'autres qui s'intéressent à Londres. Mais aussi pour regrouper bon nombres d'infos, de sites, de choses à faire, d'idées, et de connaissances autour de Londres (exemple : symboles et icônes de la cuisine anglaise, article à venir). Donc, Dimanche 28 avril, voilà où nous en sommes.  

        As an adventurer, without fear or apprehension, I embarked on a new experience... BEING AN AU PAIR, BABY! It means A YEAR IN LONDON, strolling through the subway lines, with connections by train for traveling in the London we all love (yes: you, your factor and your banker ((Hello Mrs. Noterman)). Strolling in all neighborhoods, and beyond, linger in museums, testing pubs, restaurants and coffee shops, explore the parks and English architectural symbols again. And do not forget the shopping and kitsch/vintage things so well known in London (future article). I already see myself spending all my money at Primark and Starbuck... Oh dear. This blog was made for being a mark of my english routine (once over there), and keep memories from this, for me, and also for those who have any interest about London. But also to group many informations, sites, things to do, ideas, and tips about London (example: symbols and icons of the English cooking, future article). So, on Sunday, April 28th, here is where we are there.

       ★★★ Mardi 7 mai 2013. Ce sera Hampstead. 

      

     BIG NEWS LES FRENCHIES... l'aventure commence le 19 août 2013! Dans un charmant petit coin du Nord de Londres, qui n'est autre que le délicieux et chic Hampstead, entre la zone 2 et 3. (Pour celles et ceux qui connaissent le film Bright Star de Jeanne Campion, et qui sont tombé amoureuses du poète John Keats, (interprété par le bellâtre Ben Wishaw), l'instant de 3 secondes et 45 millièmes, vous devriez comprendre mon excitation. Aussi, je voue un immense culte à Aupair-world.net, car c'est de loin le meilleur site pour trouver une famille d'accueil. Il m'a fallu une vingtaine de jours pour trouver une host family. Et vous...? :-) 

       BIG NEWS FRENCHIES... The adventure begins on August 19, 2013! In a charming location in North London, which is none other than the delicious and chic Hampstead, between zones 2 and 3. (For those who know the movie Bright Star by Jane Campion, who fells in love with the poet John Keats (played by the beautiful Ben Wishaw) in 3 seconds and 45 milliseconds, you should understand my excitement). So I dedicated a huge cult to Aupair-world.net, because it is by far the best place to find a host family. It took me about three weeks to find a host family. And you ...? :-)

       ★★★ Mardi 14 mai 2013. Billet easyJet dans la poche.

   

 (Moi: happy +1000) Vol réservé ! Un pas de plus vers Londres aujourd’hui. Je suis l’heureuse propriétaire d’un BILLET EASYJET À DESTINATION DE LUTON AIRPORT. À moi le traditionnel chocolat Starbuck durant le vol, à côté du hublot, à feuilleter le magazine du Duty free avec envie. Yay!

     (Me: happy +1000). Reserved flight ! A step closer to London today. I am the proud owner of a EASYJET TICKET FOR LUTON AIRPORT. Can not wait to drink my traditional chocolate Starbuck during the flight, next to the window, scroll to the duty free magazine with envy. Yay!

      ★★★ Lundi 20 mai 2013. Valise tellement huge.

     Qui-est-ce qui a eu pour son anniversaire une SUPER GRANDE VALISE TOUTE NEUVE pour ramener 45 kg de fringues de Londres tout les deux mois pour voyager ? :-) Genre la valise grande comme le Kilimanjaro. Genre je peux dormir dedans. Grise, légère et hyper malléable. Cadenas et sangle antivol avec (si, si, la famille, merci maman). Je dis pas que je pourrais y ramener 36 paires de chaussures dedans, quoi que... - Just gorgeous.

     Who had for his birthday a VERY LARGE AND NEW SUITCASE  to bring 45 kg of clothes in London every two months to travel? :-) As large as Kilimanjaro. As if I can sleep in it. Grey, light and super malleable. With a lot of locks (yes, thank you mom). I'm not saying that I could bring 36 pairs of shoes in it, whatever ... - Just gorgeous.
